A native of Roxbury, Chelsey Schmidt holds a BS in exercise science from DeSales University, and has both a CSCS certificate and a CrossFit Level 1 certification. Chelsey’s internship with the strength and conditioning coach at Muhlenberg College found her working with soccer, softball and lacrosse players, and her interniship at Lehigh University had her working with middle school and high school athletes to develop their speed and agility. An accomplished athlete, Chelsey has competed in gymnastics, cheerleading and pole vaulting (at the college level) and holds an RPS powerlifting record in the bench press.

A former D1 Field Hockey Player, and former athlete of the Annex Sports Performance Program, Ali has been CrossFitting since 2013. A native of Morristown, NJ, Ali lived in Hoboken to be closer to her job in the city. It was during that time that she became bored of the boring gym routine. Having tried CrossFit previously at CrossFit Annex, she searched for gyms in the area and came across CrossFit Hoboken. It was there that her competitive nature was met with constantly varied, high intensity work outs. The team camaraderie she was also missing from the college days were also met with CrossFit's supportive community.

On occasion, Ali competes in local CrossFit competitions throughout NJ, and also competed in her first Olympic Lifting meet this past October. Ali holds a Level One CrossFit Certification and completed the CrossFit Coaches Prep Course at CrossFit Hoboken where she was responsible of the Free Trial and Fundamentals Programs. It was during her time coaching there that she realized coaching and helping others be the healthiest version of themselves were important. She now joins our team at CrossFit Annex and will also be sharing her knowledge and experience with athletes in the Sports Performance Program as well.

From Pequannock, New Jersey, Fintan holds a CrossFit L1 certification and has been involved in Crossfit since 2009. While attending Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, Fintan was looking for a way to change up his daily gym routine, wanting something effective that would be similar to a military-like training program found on the CrossFit main site. After his first 20-minute workout Fintan knew he was onto something challenging and fun. Many years later he is still pursuing fitness and gaining knowledge to help people become better everyday. Throughout Fintan's pursuit of fitness he has competed in CrossFit, Strongman, weightlifting and powerlifting competitions
